1.) Where do we put in, get out?
Our trips begin at our site and end approximately 3/4 mile downstream, we then pick you up and bring
you back to the site.
2.) What should we bring?
You should bring tennis shoes or a good pair of water shoes to protect your feet. Sunscreen to protect your
body from the sun. A towel and dry clothes for when your done tubing. Another good thing to remember is putting your keys
in a safe place while tubing with us. They are practically impossible to find if lost in the river. We can hold
them at the site if you'd like us to.
3.) Is the river safe for me, safe for my kids?
Generally speaking, the river is safe for everyone, except during high water conditions. During this
time we will not open. We do not recommend children under 3 years of age to go down our shuttle run at ANYTIME. There
are calmer areas of the river that are safe for kids and we can point those out to you when you get to the site. Our
motto has always been: "if we won't tube it, we're not gonna let you" SAFETY OF EVERYONE COMES FIRST!!
4.)
Will I hit any rocks with my butt?
POSSIBLY!
Just remember when your in shallow areas to "raise it up". You may or may not hit any, this really depends on current
water levels. If you do experience a bump or two, it's not that bad. We've had our share and we're still able
to tell about it....haha!
5.) Do you offer group rates?
YES!! For groups of 10 or more. Please call or Email with your needs. For larger groups (25 or more),
we recommend placing a reservation.
6.) If we leave for lunch, Can we come back and go again?
ABSOLUTELY!! We would love for you to!
7.) Can we drink while we're
tubing?
NO! The City of Townsend has an ordinance
against this. If caught, you can be fined or placed under arrest (possibly both). It is also unlawful to consume alcohol
inside the National Park unless you are at a campsite.
OUT OF RESPECT TO RIVER RESIDENTS, FISHERMAN, AND OTHER TUBERS, PLEASE KEEP THE LITTLE RIVER
